photo restoration

Using the
latest
software
and
working
at pixel depth
they
carefully
repair
the
damage. For scanning we use the Epson Perfection 4990 Photo, a high resolution scanner that gives excellent reproduction.
When it comes to printing your restored digital images we use the top of the range Epson Stylus Photo R2400 printer with quality Epson photographic papers and the Epson UltraChrome K3 inks for extremely long lasting results. Tests conducted by the Wilheim Research Institute have shown that photographs produced with Epson paper and UltraChrome K3 inks have a fade free life of 60 years which is extended to 85 years if kept under glass (ie: framed and on display). If photos are displayed with uv filtered glass then the fade free life expectancy goes up to 98 years. If you chose to store your photos away from the light in dark storage then the fade free life has been calculated at greater than 300 years!
