● SEND
US YOUR PHOTOS
BY
POST
We
are happy to receive
your photos by post
but there are some
simple precautions
that you should take
to ensure the safety
of your photos.
Send
the photos in secure
packaging and use
a
board-backed
envelope or place
your photographs between
two pieces of stiff
card inside a normal
envelope.
Before
placing your photos
in the envelope mark
the envelope on both
front and back with
the words DO NOT BEND.
Address
the envelope to Photores,
'West Wending', 1
Lawn Crescent, Thorpe
End, Norwich, NR13
5BP
If
the photograph is
framed please remove
it from the frame if
possible, before sending
to us. If it is not
possible to remove
from the frame without
causing damage to the
photograph we can still
accept it but you should
post it in a heavy
duty padded bag (Jiffy)
and use plenty of
padding, such as bubble-wrap.
Mark the envelope
on both sides with
fragile, handle with
care.
Include
in your envelope
a
note
outlining the work
required,
size of prints, etc.
Please
ensure you supply
us with your address
and
a contact telephone
number.
For
better security
we
recommend sending
your photographs
by Recorded or
Special Delivery.
● SCANNING
YOUR PICTURE YOURSELF
You
can send us your photograph
by email if it is
already in a digital
format or if you have
access to a scanner.
If
scanning the photo

ensure you scan it
on the highest quality
setting with a resolution
of at least 300 dpi.
If the photo is small
and you want us to
enlarge it then we
would prefer that
you scan it at 600
dpi.
Save
the image as a jpeg
at the highest quality
setting (with the
least file compression).
Email
it to enquiries@photores.co.uk and
include details of
the work required
and your contact
details.
